MERMAIDS IN CONEY ISLAND 2007
Article by Takeshi Yamada and Dr. Eriko N. Bond
Part 4

Despite my great
expectations, the thrill rides and game centers of the two
amusement parks right by Coney Island Beach do not have any
mermaids painted on their attractions except for the ThunderBolt
ride in Deno’s WonderWheel Amusement Park. This thrill ride is
covered with many mermaids and mythic humanoid fish. (September
