A young Robert F. Dale stands behind the counter of a ham and bacon wheel in 1935 on the O. C. Buck shows. These games were popular during the depression years of the 1930's when putting any kind of groceries on the dinner table was difficult.

For a nickel a spin the players took a chance on winning a pound of bacon or coffee or a wrapped and cured ham. Thanks to the Dale family for providing us with this wonderful old photo (*and keep'em coming !)
